(ConservativeHub.com) – Comedian Marlon Wayans posted an Instagram video informing his fans that he would not be able to make it to his shows in Kansas City, Missouri after he was barred from a United Airlines flight on Friday, June 9, for disturbing the peace.
Allegedly, Wayans’s removal was the result of an incident involving a gate agent at a Denver, Colorado airport. In the Instagram post, the 50-year-old comedian included the caption “Maaaaaan the bull—- I’m experiencing at @united is unprecedented BULL—-.”
In his post, Wayans said that what occurred was that the agent had informed him that he was traveling with “too many bags.” In response to this, Wayans consolidated the bags but he was then told that he needed to check the bag. He proceeded to say that while most agents are lovely people, every once in a while you find someone who is “Bad” doing that job.
Wayans was later given a citation for disturbing the peace by the Denver Police Department after this interaction. According to the Airlines, he was cited for trying to get past an employee and get on the plane without permission. In a different post on Instagram, Wayans addressed the citation again, recounting the interaction and alleging that the gate agent had lied and said he had “assaulted him.” However, he stated that the video of the interaction shows that Wayans never attempted to touch the man.
He proceeded to state that he has “flown over 15,000,000 miles in my lifetime” and that he has never before had such an issue. He claimed that he is usually very “mild-mannered” and that for some reason the agent decided to pick on him.
