Again? House Dems Revisit Devastating Minimum Wage Proposal

( – Joe Biden campaigned, in part, on a series of promises to rebuild the nation’s economy and create millions of jobs. His new administration flaunted those so-called “priorities” on the official White House website. However, in reality, he’s done the opposite. For instance, he wiped out thousands of jobs with his executive order halting construction on the Keystone XL pipeline.

Most recently, the Democratic-led House Education and Labor Committee approved a federal $15 minimum wage proposal as part of Biden’s COVID-19 relief bill on February 10. Radical leftist “Squad” member Ilhan Omar bragged about it on her Twitter feed.

Of course, they aren’t boasting about a report discussing the impact of raising the minimum wage issued by the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO) on February 8.

The CBO estimated the proposal would increase the cumulative budget deficit by tens of billions of dollars, raise the prices for products and services, and increase spending for unemployment programs. Additionally, raising wages would eliminate 1.4 million jobs.

Driving workers out of their jobs while forcing increased prices on goods clearly runs counter to Biden’s claims about prioritizing the economy and employment.
