(ConservativeHub.com) – World Superstar Beyoncé was shown in Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson’s financial disclosure to have gifted her tickets last year.
In the disclosure, Jackson did not provide information on the concert the tickets were for. However, Beyoncé’s “Renaissance World Tour” took place in 2023, with with one stop being near Washington, D.C..
On Friday, June 7, all but one Supreme Court Justices made their financial disclosures available, abiding by the annual filing deadline. The one exception was Justice Samuel Alito, who asked for a 90-day extension to make his filing.
According to The Hill, the tickets, which are valued at $3,711.84, were one of the most notable gifts disclosed by any justice in the latest financial disclosures.
Jackson in her filing also appeared to be one of the Justices who earned the most from book royalties, as Penguin Random House paid her $893,750, which is believed to be advance earnings for her upcoming memoir. Other significant gifts received by Jackson included the artwork that was gifted to her by two different artists. The artwork was valued at $12,500.
This is not the first year that disclosures of Jackson have attracted attention, as last year she reportedly received flowers worth $1,200 from Oprah Winfrey. For a magazine photo shoot, the justice was also reportedly gifted designer clothes worth over $6,500.
In 2022, Jackson became the first Black woman to sit as a justice in the Supreme Court. President Joe Biden had nominated her for the position.
