(ConservativeHub.com) – On Wednesday, July 3, President Joe Biden informed Democratic governors that following the first presidential debate the previous week, he was cleared by a doctor. This statement contradicts the White House’s earlier statement about the medical care received by the President.

On the evening of July 3, Biden had a meeting both in person and through video call with Democratic governors where he was called to answer questions about his poor performance in the CNN host debate. When asked specifically whether he had received medical care following the debate, Biden had informed the governors that a doctor had checked him out and everything was fine. However, a few hours earlier, Karine Jean-Pierre, the press secretary of the White House, claimed that Biden had not undergone any medical exams since February. That was when Biden’s last comprehensive physical exam was completed.

Politico was the first to report on the comments of the President, which come at a time when Biden is trying to increase support on the left and secure victory against his opponent, former President Donald Trump. Many people are reportedly concerned about Biden’s performance and capability.

On Thursday, July 4, Biden admitted in an interview that he “had a bad night” and that ” I made a mistake.” He had added that while the 90 minutes of the debate had not gone well, people should focus on his record of the past 3.5 years. He said that he has saved the economy from the edge of “collapse.”

The White House also amended previous comments about Biden’s recent medical history, clarifying that while his last physical was in February, he has had a number of short check-ups since then.
