Bear ATTACKS Couple – Shots Fired!
(ConservativeHub.com) – Bears may look cute, but they can be deadly. A family in Wisconsin recently had a scary confrontation with one in their own home. According to reports, a black bear broke into the house on May 20, and after a failed attempt to scare it away, the couple stabbed the animal before killing it with a firearm.
The family told authorities the bear was eating out of a bird feeder in their yard earlier in the day. When they yelled at the bear to go away, it somehow broke through a window and confronted them. The man and woman suffered injuries before they could take down the animal. Luckily, the children in the home were in bed and didn’t suffer any harm.

The Taylor County Sheriff’s Office said the intruder was a female bear who likely had a cub because there was one in the immediate area.
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) noted an increase in the number of bears in the state. The population has risen from about 9,000 in 1989 to more than 24,000 in 2022. The agency is currently conducting a study on black bears to assist in creating a state-wide bear management plan. DNR officials put out a request in February for the public to help with the study by reporting den locations.
