( – In an interview on “Piers Morgan Uncensored,” Hollywood actor Dennis Quaid stated that in the upcoming election, he believes he will be voting for former President Donald Trump. According to Quaid, Trump is a candidate who “stands up to people.”

Quaid in the interview denounced what he referred to as the “weaponization of” the justice system, while also slamming President Joe Biden for his approach to foreign policy. He noted that in the next election, he thinks that he will be voting for Trump.

He continued by stating that “it just makes sense,” adding that he wasn’t ready to vote for Trump until he saw what he believes is a “challenge” to the US Constitution.

Quaid also said early this week that he had problems with the investigations into Trump, which have resulted in a number of indictments against him. The first of these indictments relates to a hush money payment made to adult film star Stormy Daniels, and Trump was just found guilty on 34 counts in the trial on Thursday, May 30.

Trump is also facing two indictments relating to his actions following the past election. One of these indictments is a state indictment in Georgia, while the second one is a federal indictment brought forward by special counsel Jack Smith.

The final of the four indictments against Trump relates to the mishandling of classified documents that were recovered from his Mar-a-Lago home.

Ahead of Trump’s conviction in the latest trial, Quaid claimed they hadn’t managed to “get him on anything” and questioned what crime he was even being charged for in the hush money case.
