(ConservativeHub.com) – The midterm elections are right around the corner, and Republicans have a good chance to take back the House and Senate. Republicans historically do well in midterm elections when a Democrat is in the White House.
Former President Donald Trump met with about a dozen House Republicans on Thursday, June 10, to discuss their policy agenda and pathway to retaking the lower chamber in the upcoming midterm elections.

Rep. Jim Banks (R-IN), the head of the Republican Study Committee (RSC), headed up the group. He reported that they met with Trump for about two hours.
According to Banks, the group spent most of its time discussing how to “define” the Republican agenda and the “future” path for the Republican Party. Banks confirmed the RSC’s course for America aligns with the Trump agenda.
The group also discussed domestic issues like the mounting border crisis, immigration, and the nation’s surging inflation. They discussed the Save Democracy Act and the pending Republican election integrity legislation, as well.
With any luck, Republicans can sweep the 2022 midterms as they did in 1994 when they picked up 54 House seats and 8 in the Senate. With Donald Trump at the helm of the party, nothing can be ruled out.
