(ConservativeHub.com) – After his first term in the White House, many conservatives continue to follow former President Donald Trump’s lead when it comes to all things politics. His latest suggestion caught quite a bit of press when he said US House Representative Elise Stefanik (R-NY) could be president in 2028.
During a fundraiser at Trump’s Mar-A-Lago resort in Palm Beach Florida on Tuesday, January 11, the former president praised Stefanik for being a “strong boss”, “a friend”, and “upwardly mobile.” Trump also congratulated the congresswoman on her success, stating that at the current rate, “she’ll be President in about 6 years.”
Representative Stefanik shared how much her and Trump’s fundraiser collected for the upcoming 2022 midterm elections on Twitter:

Currently, Stefanik is the youngest person on the GOP House leadership team and serves on the House Armed Services Committee, the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, and the Committee on Education and Labor. In addition, the Center for Effective Lawmaking named her one of the most effective Republican lawmakers in Washington right now.
So, while she may be young in comparison to typical presidential candidates, Trump seems to think Stefanik would make a good potential 2028 presidential candidate.
