(ConservativeHub.com) – The balance of power in the Supreme Court currently favors Conservatives over Liberals by a six to three margin. However, having an edge doesn’t always guarantee success. Former President Donald Trump’s second appointee, Brett Kavanaugh, hasn’t turned out to be the strong barrier against Liberal Justices Conservatives hoped for when he first sat on the bench.
Noted author and journalist Michael Wolff’s latest book, “Landslide,” hit the sales racks on July 13 and includes a section devoted to Trump’s opinion of Kavanaugh’s work on the bench.
Trump unloads on Brett Kavanaugh for his Supreme Court votes: "Where would he be without me? I saved his life. He wouldn't even be in a law firm. Who would have had him? Nobody. Totally disgraced. Only I saved him." https://t.co/Y1AGAkYLMK

Trump went to bat with Kavanaugh amid harsh Democrat-led efforts to block his nomination. Sadly, Trump told Wolff he was “very disappointed” in many of Kavanaugh’s votes on the bench. In Trump’s opinion, Kavanaugh lacks the necessary “courage… to be a great Justice.”
The former president appeared to be particularly disappointed in Kavanaugh’s seeming lack of loyalty. “Practically every Senator” called Trump and told him to drop Kavanaugh’s nomination when his confirmation hearings hit a rocky point. Trump told them no, “I can’t do that.”
Trump isn’t the only one who has spoken out about his disappointment in Kavanaugh and other Conservatives on the bench. It’s gotten to the point Conservatives Justices Samuel Alito, Neil Gorsuch, and Clarence Thomas have warned that Kavanaugh and Justice Amy Coney Barrett lack what it takes to be solid members of the Court.
