(ConservativeHub.com) – Donald Trump has remained relatively quiet since moving to his Mar-a-Lago resort in January. He gave a speech at the annual Conservative Political Action Committee (CPAC) conference in February. More recently, he had an in-person interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity. However, it looks like he is about to expand his presence even further.
The North Carolina GOP released a media advisory on May 17 announcing that Donald Trump would speak during its State Convention Dinner on Saturday, June 5.

Chairman Michael Whatley praised the former president, telling North Carolinians that Trump won the state in 2016 by promising to put America First, and he won again in 2020 by keeping his word.
He also pointed out that Donald Trump rebuilt the nation’s military, took a hardline approach to China, and unleashed the American economy.
He concluded his remarks stating that the North Carolina GOP welcomes President Trump to its convention as part of the Republican Party’s launch of its nationwide effort to take back the House and Senate in the upcoming 2022 midterm elections.
