(ConservativeHub.com) – There’s been a lot of chatter about Republicans voting to oust Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) from her position as the House Republican Conference chair. House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) endorsed Donald Trump loyalist Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) during a recent Fox News interview, making it likely that Cheney will lose the position.
On May 8, Stefanik spoke with Breitbart News on a wide array of topics, including what she thinks will be critical to taking back the House and Senate in 2022. Asked what she would do if she replaces Cheney, Stefanik said she would first listen to the voices of the people who “overwhelmingly” voted for Donald Trump. She said she would also be sure to listen to Republican Conference members.

Turning her attention to the upcoming 2022 elections, Stefanik said that allying with Trump voters would be key to scoring a victory. She pointed out that Trump received 75 million votes during the 2020 presidential election and carried half the states.
As Stefanik concluded, the voters want someone with a clear message who will “stand strong and fight on their behalf.” Encouragingly, Donald Trump has already confirmed that he will help Republicans take back Congress.
