VICTORY – Projected Winner Of Key Election Revealed!
(ConservativeHub.com) – The Republican Missouri Senate nomination was a heated three-way race between State Attorney General Eric Schmitt, former Governor Eric Greitens, and Representative Vicky Hartzler, but Schmitt emerged victorious. His main rival early in the campaign was the former governor, who often led in earlier polls.
The AG managed to secure about 46% of the votes, according to unofficial results. The next closest candidate was Vicky Hartzler, who came in with around 22%. But Greitens’ 19% was surprising because many felt he would win.

Unfortunately, the former governor has a scandalous past trailing him that Schmitt supporters grabbed onto as fuel in their crusade to win. Greitens left office due to allegations he was blackmailing a woman with whom he had an affair. The situation later led to criminal charges, which prosecutors eventually dropped. But earlier this year, the disgraced politician faced accusations of abuse from his ex-wife and their son.
On the other hand, Schmitt gained voter approval for standing up for personal rights in fights against vaccine and mask mandates. He also targeted the MAGA crowd by raising questions about the 2020 election results and getting behind key Trump administration ideas, such as building the border wall.
The Missouri Senate seat is essential to the overall GOP strategy to retake the majority in the chamber. A Republican needs to win to take over from retiring Senator Roy Blunt (R) and maintain the party’s hold on the seat.
