(ConservativeHub.com) – Shipping company drivers typically move quickly from one house to the next on their route as they try to deliver their packages to go home to their families. Yet, one FedEx driver took extra time out of his day to ensure an American flag was right where it should be and given the respect it deserves.
A Ring home security camera recently caught a delivery man dropping off packages to houses in a Matthews, North Carolina neighborhood. In the video, after the driver sets a package on the porch, he realizes the home’s American flag has fallen off its pole and onto the bushes next to the house. He quickly picks up the flag, fixes the pole, and hangs it back on the side of the house. If this weren’t enough, the driver showed his willingness to go above and beyond when he stepped back and saluted the fallen flag.

Flag-flying homeowner Karla Cruz, a woman who immigrated from Mexico when she was four years old, told local station WJZY she was immensely grateful for the drivers’ kindness, highlighting how this country brought her family “the American dream.” It’s heartwarming to see there are still people around this nation doing good deeds for others and showing their love for the United States in these tumultuous times.
