(ConservativeHub.com) – Republicans scored significant victories during nationwide elections conducted on Tuesday, November 2. Republican gubernatorial candidate Glenn Youngkin won a decisive victory over Democratic rival Terry McAuliffe in Virginia. Likewise, Republicans had big wins in local elections in New York, New Jersey, and several other states. Now, House Republicans are planning to expand their efforts to rack up similar victories during the upcoming 2022 midterm elections.
With Democrats holding the slimmest margin in the US House in decades, Republicans have an excellent opportunity to retake control of the chamber. On Wednesday, the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC), the GOP’s campaign arm, announced its decision to expand its target list of Democrats running in 2022 to include a total of 70 targets. Among the new targets are Rep. Darren Soto (D-FL), Rep. Madeleine Dean (D-PA), and Rep. Jim Cooper (D-TN).
“In [an election] cycle like this, no Democrat is safe,” proclaimed NRCC head Tom Emmer. “Voters are rejecting Democrat policies,” he added.

The key to winning is getting the people fired up so that they get out and vote. When Republicans vote, Republicans can win. It’s as simple as that.
