( – President Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden, who has been involved in a number of scandals and has faced a lot of criticisms by the Republican party, recently suggested that Fox News was attempting to use his drug addiction in order to “dehumanize” him.

On Monday, May 20, the Daily Beast published an exclusive interview with the first son, in which Biden argued that he was not claiming that his addiction could be used to excuse his bad behavior. However, he also said that his addiction should not be used as a way to “dehumanize” him. He said this was simply leading to the dehumanization of other addicts, including those “you live with.”

The 54-year-old businessman recently sent a legal letter to Fox in which he threatened to file a lawsuit against Fox News, alleging a conspiracy between the network, pro-Russian foreign nationals, and allies of former President Donald Trump to defame him. He has further argued that his image has been exploited for profit.

According to the president’s son, the network has repeatedly attempted to use him as a part of a plan to harm his father’s political career. The letter asked the network to issue apologies and written retractions related to certain stories that they have published about him. Hunter Biden’s lawyers have claimed that they are planning to introduce a lawsuit in the near future.

Fox News has previously argued that the network is protected because Hunter Biden is a “public figure” and its reports on him have been accurate.
