Judge Throws Out Case Against Trump Jr. and Others
(ConservativeHub.com) – Americans began hearing the name of Alexander Vindman, an Army lieutenant colonel, in 2019. He testified about a phone call between former President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, where the 45th president allegedly offered a quid pro quo. The allegation eventually led to Trump’s first impeachment. More recently, Vindman’s name is in the news after a federal judge dismissed a case Vindman had brought against Trump allies recently, accusing them of intimidation and defamation.
On Tuesday, November 8, US District Judge James Boasberg ruled that Donald Trump Jr., Rudy Giuliani, Julia Hahn, and Daniel Scavino Jr. did not agree to intimidate and retaliate against Vindman for his testimony. The Army officer had alleged that the Conservatives spun fake stories about him, from leaking classified info to saying he worked as a spy for Ukraine.
While the Obama-appointed judge did note in his ruling that the facts “suggest that Defendants leveled harsh, meanspirited, and at times misleading attacks,” they didn’t violate the law. With this, he dismissed the case.
…It is an example of how these lawsuits often receive breathless coverage despite the obvious flaws. However, when they are dismissed, there is often relatively little coverage. https://t.co/sLSUYfyLEk

Trump allies are in the clear for any actions or words they said about Vindman surrounding his testimony following this ruling. However, given the tumultuous political climate, could other similar lawsuits come out of the woodworks?
