(ConservativeHub.com) – On April 4, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) called for donations to support former President Donald Trump after his arraignment on criminal charges in Manhattan. During an appearance on “Hannity,” Graham stated that this was their “one last chance here to straighten this out.”

He proceeded to state that the upcoming 2024 election was the most important election in his lifetime and even claimed that “America is literally at stake as we know it.” For this reason, he urged people to donate whatever they could to support Trump. He also urged those who could not afford it to simply pray in support of Trump. He claimed people needed to also make sure that they voted as early as they could in their states.

That same day, Trump went to a Manhattan courthouse and pleaded not guilty to all 34 charges he faced related to falsifying business documents. The case relates to a case involving adult film star Stormy Daniels, in which Trump was accused of paying her through his lawyer before the 2016 election in exchange for her silence over their alleged affair.

This is not the first time that Graham has called for donations in Trump’s name, according to The Hill. During a Fox News interview, he also urged people to vote in Trump’s campaign following his indictment in this case. At the time, he had claimed that “They’re trying to drain him [Donald Trump] dry.” He also claimed that Trump has had to spend more on lawyers than most people spend on campaigns.
