(ConservativeHub.com) – A new Washington Post-ABC News poll showed that around 62% of Americans do not believe that Biden has accomplished much during his first 2 years in office. This is despite the fact that Washington’s message has been focused on convincing everyone that this has been the most productive that Washington’s been since Lyndon Johnson’s “Great Society” agenda.

From those surveyed, only 36% of Americans believed that Biden achieved “a great deal” or “a good amount.” There was also a big disparity along partisan lines on how the President’s work was perceived.

While 77% of Democrats thought that Biden had accomplished a lot, only 32% of independents thought the same. Only 7% of Republicans on the other hand thought that the president had made great progress. This means that 93% of Republicans thought he had not accomplished much or little to nothing. Around 66% of independents and 22% of Dems also shared that view.

This poll greatly questions how successful the White House has been with its messaging in trying to convince everyone of the productivity and successes of the administration.

The Democratic Congress in the last two years has passed a $1.7 billion pandemic relief package, the Inflation Reduction Act and a $1 trillion infrastructure package, which dealt both with healthcare and green energy. However, it seems these accomplishments haven’t been enough to convince all Americans of the positive work he’s done.
