Self-Defense Legend: Burglary Victim Takes Matters Into His Own Hands
(ConservativeHub.com) – For most people, home is a haven of security and comfort. But, if this safe place is ever compromised, it can be terrifying. Recently two Los Angeles residents experienced that terror when armed burglars broke into their home. Yet, with a quick reaction, one of the residents stopped the burglary.
In the wee hours of the morning on Saturday, May 21, a homeowner in Walnut, California, defended his home and his wife from a burglary in progress. Upon hearing noises around 4 a.m., the 27-year-old man confronted one of the two armed burglars inside his home, and they exchanged fire. Neither homeowner received injuries, but authorities pronounced one burglar dead at the scene after he took two bullets to his upper torso. Authorities haven’t released his identity. The investigators believe a second burglar fled, but no one else has been arrested yet.

Investigators recovered one handgun from the scene and are seeking more information to track down the second thief.
