Jen Psaki Speaks on Midterms, Says Biden Won’t Be a Selling Point for Voters
(ConservativeHub.com) – Americans used to hear from former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki all the time about the issues facing our nation. Yet since she left the Biden administration, they have to tune into MSNBC to hear her point of view. In a recent talk on NBC News’ “Meet the Press,” she said she believes Democrats “will lose” the upcoming midterm elections if they base them solely on President Joe Biden’s likeability.
On Sunday, September 25, Psaki spoke with NBC’s Chuck Todd about all things election-related. She said she thinks the progressive party will win if it’s a competition about “who is the most extreme,” but said the Dems will lose Congress if the votes are “a referendum on the president.”

Psaki also affirmed what many voters already know: the Democrats’ crime policies present “a huge vulnerability” for them. She noted that Pennsylvania is one particular area where it’s an issue, pointing out that Republicans have been investing in advertising on crime in that state.
Psaki also spoke with Todd about factors limiting Democrats’ financial stability this season. Some major super PACs aren’t donating as much as usual. This shortfall contrasts with the GOP fundraising, which is still raking in money from both large and small donors. As coverage of this election season continues, watching the topics candidates and ads focus on will be key to understanding what each party truly hopes to achieve.
