(ConservativeHub.com) – NFL broadcaster Charissa Thompson spoke in a recent episode of her podcast “Calm Down” with Erin Andrews, detailing a time when her home was the target of a burglary. She added during the reveal that she had faced other security issues before, including stalking and hacking.
She recalled during the episode that she was not at home at the time of the incident, but she received an alert on her phone that informed her that her home front door was opened and the alarm had gone off at 12:15 at night. At the time, Thompson was at the ranch and she considered the notification to be odd. However, upon checking her home cameras, she could see two guys running with bags in their hands toward the front door.
She added that as soon as she realized what was happening, she started crying, panicking as she realized that she had been robbed. She then started to check all of the other cameras and angles in an attempt to get as much insight into what happened as she could.
Thompson claimed that the three guys had run over her back fence and one of them had broken the window, which is what set the alarm off. She added that the group must have been professionals, as they knew to be in and out of her property within three to four minutes. She argued that the most important thing that she lost that day was her sense of security, which is not something that she will be able to get back through her insurance.
