(ConservativeHub.com) – A Philadelphia radio station parted ways with a host who asked President Joe Biden pre-determined questions during a recent interview.
WURD, a Philadelphia-based radio station, has parted ways with Andrea Lawful-Sanders, who asked Biden questions during an interview that his team had provided ahead of time.
Lawful-Sanders made the admission during a CNN interview on Saturday, July 6. She revealed the President’s team had sent her eight questions she needed to ask the President during his interview on a previous episode of “The Source.”
Lawful-Sanders explained that of the eight questions she was given before the interview, she only “approved” four. She revealed that she used those four questions during her sit-down interview with the President — the first since his highly criticized debate performance on June 27.
The questions Lawful-Sanders asked centered around the President’s debate performance, accomplishments, and progress in Wisconsin and Pennsylvania. Lawful-Sanders also focused in on issues related to the upcoming election and what he’d say to voters who a re thinking of not voting on November 5.
By Sunday, Sara M. Lomax, WURD’s president and CEO, published a statement announcing Lawful-Sanders and WURD had “mutually agreed to part ways,” explaining that the radio station isn’t a “mouthpiece for Biden” or any administration.
In the statement, which appears to have been deleted from WURD’s website, Lomax also noted that Lawful-Sanders had arranged and negotiated Biden’s first post-debate interview “without knowledge, consultation or collaboration” with the radio station’s management.
The statement explained that Lawful-Sanders’ actions of featuring “pre-determined questions provided by the White House” violated the radio station’s practice of “remaining independent” and “accountable” to listeners.
Lomax revealed Lawful-Sanders no longer worked at the station, “effective immediately.”
