(ConservativeHub.com) – On Friday, May 16, Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas) took to social media platform X to state that she was going to be launching a line of merchandise that will be used to fundraise for Democratic candidates. This latest announcement came after she clashed with Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.).
Crockett stated regarding the collection that it would include “swag” with “random things” she has said. One of the things in question is the comment she made last week which appeared to be targeting Greene during a House Oversight Committee hearing last. In the post, Crockett included a photo of a T-shirt that read, “Bleach Blonde Bad Built Butch Body.” She said this will be the first item in the collection to become available.
Crockett added that to get the merchandise online, she would need some “time” and that the money she raises from the sales is going to be used to ensure that the Democrats win the House this year.
On Thursday, during a hearing about General Attorney Merrick Garland, Crockett and Greene had a heated exchange that started with the Republican lawmaker making a comment relating to Crockett’s appearance. Greene told Crockett that she believed her “fake eyelashes” were completely messing up everything that she was “reading.”
Bickering broke out among the lawmakers at the hearing, with Crockett at one point asking Chair James Comer (R-Ky.) a hypothetical question about whether someone talking about a member’s “bleach blonde bad built butch body” would be considered “engaging in personalities.” During an appearance on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Crockett argued that she had no regrets regarding the comments she had made.
