Sarah Sanders Projected to Take Victory in Arkansas Primary

Sarah Sanders Takes Victory in Arkansas Primary

Sarah Sanders ELECTION Findings Revealed – Look What Happened

(ConservativeHub.com) – In the Arkansas primary, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, former Trump White House press secretary, has won the Republican nomination for governor. She beat her opponent Francis “Doc” Washburn in a vote of 287,905 to 58,316 and will face Democratic opponent Chris Jones in November.

Washburn is a former talk radio host who now works as a podcaster, and analysts considered him a long shot to win the primary. Sanders, the daughter of former Arkansas governor and 2008 and 2016 presidential candidate Mike Huckabee, carried former President Donald Trump’s endorsement.

Sanders ran on a platform opposing the Biden administration’s policies. Her strong background in politics helped her to exceed fundraising records.

Sanders’ Democratic party opponent, Chris Jones, is an ordained minister and nuclear engineer. His platform stresses his familiarity with regular people rather than a strong political background.

Based on the turnout for the primary race, Sanders appears to have a good chance of winning in the fall. Records show Republicans cast 347,381 votes, compared to only 94,279 votes from Democrats, in the primary race. The state is historically red, with wins for Donald Trump in the last two presidential elections. Will the former press secretary be able to win the race and follow in her father’s footsteps?
