Shooting Incident at State Fair Leaves 3 People Injured

(ConservativeHub.com) – On Saturday, October 14, video footage from State Fair of Texas attendees showed people fleeing the scene after a shooting. The Dallas, Texas police have confirmed that around 8 p.m. local time, there was a shooting that resulted in three people being injured.

Following the incident at the food court close to the Cotton Bowl stadium, one person was taken into custody. The organizers of the fair added that the force which had been present during the event was quick to help evacuate the park.

WFAA, a local news station noted that the suspect, 23, shot at another man, which resulted in three victims being left with non-life-threatening wounds. The suspect tried to flee from the scene, but the Dallas police were able to both arrest him and recover his gun. The incident is now being investigated by law enforcement.

One of the clips from the event shows hundreds of people rushing to move away from the food court while screams can be heard in the background. One person in the video can be heard asking what was going on.

In a different video taken onboard the Ferris Wheel, people can be seen leaving the park and moving towards the large parking lot while emergency vehicles in the background are lighting the way. As of October 18. the video had been viewed over 14 million times, with the person who took the video writing in the caption that this was not what anyone wanted to see while on the Ferris Wheel. The video also included some swearing.
