(ConservativeHub.com) – During an interview with Fox News host Maria Bartiromo, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Tx.) said that the FBI should also conduct searches in Hunter Biden’s offices and homes for classified documents, after it was revealed that President Biden had classified documents in his Delaware home and his office in Washington, D.C.

Cruz alleged that since it appears that wherever President Biden goes he leaves behind classified documents, it would only make sense to check Hunter Biden’s home and office since. This is because, for a time, he had resided in his father’s Delaware home. According to a CNN report, Hunter Biden had used the Wilmington, Delaware home as the address on his driver’s license. However, it is not yet clear how much of his time he spends on that property.

Currently, in the two different locations, there have been classified documents dating back to both Biden’s time as a Senator and vice President. This is why Cruz suggested not only the search in Hunter Biden’s home and office, but also a subsequent search through all of the documents that the former vice president had donated to the University of Delaware.

Cruz added that these searches would be key in determining who might have potentially gotten access to the mishandled classified documents. The Hill reported that for the same reason, Representative James Comer (R-Ky.) had requested all the visitor logs for the Delaware home, but he was informed that such records don’t exist for the President’s private residence.
