Well-Known Actor, Comedian Dies at 67
(ConservativeHub.com) – Many people might remember Leslie Jordan as a diminutive actor with a distinctive Southern drawl from the hit comedy “Will & Grace.” Unfortunately, the actor, who boasted a huge social media presence, died unexpectedly, leaving fans, coworkers, friends, and loved ones mourning. The 67-year-old actor and comedian, who also starred in “American Horror Story,” died after his car hit a wall in Hollywood.
On Monday, October 24, Leslie Jordan was driving his gray BMW around 8:50 a.m. when it hit a wall at Cahuenga Boulevard and Romaine Street. Officers responded to the medical emergency and pronounced him dead at the scene at 9:38 a.m. Authorities haven’t yet specified the cause of death, but that hasn’t stopped a myriad of friends and coworkers from paying tribute to the beloved man.
Jordan’s agent, David Shaul, told Fox News Digital his client was more than just “a mega talent and joy to work with;” he was also “an emotional sanctuary to the nation” during the COVID-19 pandemic where he told tales of his youth growing up in rural Tennessee and stories from Hollywood over the years.
Actor, comedian, and producer Sean Hayes, who co-starred with Jordan on “Will & Grace,” shared his tribute on Twitter:
My heart is broken. Leslie Jordan was one of the funniest people I ever had the pleasure of working with. Everyone who ever met him, loved him. There will never be anyone like him. A unique talent with an enormous, caring heart. You will be missed, my dear friend. 😔❤️ pic.twitter.com/RNKSamoES0
