(ConservativeHub.com) – The Federal Aviation Administration reported that over the weekend, former President Donald Trump’s airplane clipped a private craft that was parked at the West Palm Beach International Airport.
According to reports, the incident occurred on Sunday, May 12, and the notice released by the agency states that the registration number of the place is N757AF. The registration records for the aircraft show that the craft has been registered to DJT Operations I LLC, with the registration digits being visible on the side of the plane.
An FAA spokesperson told Nexstar’s WFLA that on 1:20 a.m. on May 12, the Trump company’s Boeing 757 landed at West Palm Beach International Airport safely. However, while taxiing, the winglet of the private aircraftcame in contact with a corporate jet that was parked at the airport. At the time of the incident, the parked aircraft had been unoccupied. The incident occurred in an airport location where the FAA does not specifically direct aircraft.
The scope of the damage is still unknown, and it’s unclear whether or not Trump was aboard the plane at the time of the incident. No one has been reported injured.
The FAA, however, has launched an investigation into the incident and is looking into what happened.
The former President is currently spending the majority of his time in Manhattan where he is facing charges for allegedly having altered business records in order to conceal a hush money payment that had been made on his behalf to adult film star Stormy Daniels ahead of the 2016 presidential election.
