(ConservativeHub.com) – According to a source familiar with the investigation case, former President Donald Trump has not yet been notified about Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s plans regarding filing charges against him.

Sources told Fox News that there is still a possibility that Bragg might choose to not indict Trump. It has also been noted that there is still at least one more witness that is scheduled to appear before the grand jury when it convenes on Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Manhattan. However, it is not yet clear who that witness will be.

The grand jury deliberations and vote proceedings are secret which is why an indictment is usually not known until an arraignment. Trump would be notified immediately if there was an indictment being brought forth. From there, Trump’s attorneys would start to negotiate the terms for his court appearance with the Manhattan district attorney’s office.

A source told Fox News that an indictment could come as early as Wednesday, March 22, but that never occurred. It’s still widely unknown whether charges will be brought. If he is indicted, however, the U.S. Secret Service and New York law enforcement would need to decide on how the former President would be brought in.

The probe is focused on the $130,000 payment allegedly made on Trump’s behalf by his then-Trump lawyer Michael Cohen to adult film star Stormy Daniels in exchange for her staying silent about their alleged affair prior to the 2016 presidential election. Trump has denied the affair despite the allegations.
