(ConservativeHub.com) – On Tuesday, October 10, former President Donald Trump slammed President Joe Biden after his recent interview with the special counsel who is investigating any possible mishandling of classified documents during Biden’s time serving as Vice President.
According to The Hill, Trump took to his social media platform Truth Social to write that he had done “nothing wrong” while Biden had moved around classified documents over the years, and had left the documents in many locations including Chinatown. Trump has already been charged in connection to the classified documents that were discovered at his Mar-a-Lago estate.
Trump said that Biden had even taken documents during his time as a Senator which was completely against the rules. He argued that while his case falls under the Presidential Records Act, Biden’s case did not, which makes the situation vastly different.
The White House has confirmed that Biden met with special counsel Robert Hur on both Sunday and Monday. Hur was assigned to oversee the investigation into Biden’s possible mishandling of classified documents.
Documents were discovered in Biden’s possession both in his private office at the University of Pennsylvania in Washington, D.C., and in his private home in Wilmington, Delaware.
Biden has maintained that he committed no wrongdoings and he has frequently pointed out that his team and lawyers have fully cooperated with the Department of Justice following the discovery of the documents. In August, he stated that so far, he had not been requested to have an interview with the special counsel but that the investigation could be reaching a conclusion soon.
