( – Former President Donald Trump has mocked Florida governor Ron DeSantis (R) for his campaign launch which was marred with technical difficulties. According to a report from Newsweek, Trump recently posted a fake video on social media that featured DeSantis participating in an AI-created Twitter Space with Adolf Hitler, the Devil, and George Soros.

DeSantis, even prior to his campaign announcement, was considered to be Trump’s biggest competition in the 2024 presidential primary race. His presidential bid announcement on Wednesday was described by many as “disastrous,” as the conversation he was meant to have with Twitter CEO Elon Musk suffered from many audio issues, with the audio often cutting off for prolonged periods of time. This made it difficult for people to actually listen to DeSantis’s campaign announcement.

The stream eventually completely cut out after about 20 minutes and was relaunched. The relaunch allowed DeSantis to confirm that he would be running in the 2024 presidential election.

In the fake video posted by Trump, there is a clip with audio of billionaire philanthropist Soros attempting to figure out whether his microphone is operating properly. Meanwhile, others in the video such as DeSantis former Vice President Dick Cheney, World Economic Forum founder Klaus Schwab, Hitler, and the Devil, were becoming annoyed by the situation.

Apart from the video mocking DeSantis’s presidential campaign launch, Trump also posted on his social media platform Truth Social during the launch to state that both DeSantis’s campaign launch and his entire campaign were going to be a disaster.
