(ConservativeHub.com) – Controversy continues to surround the Supreme Court’s dismissal of the Texas attorney general’s bid to overturn the presidential election results in Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan, and Wisconsin. President Donald Trump asked to intervene in the case along with 106 House Republicans and 17 attorneys general from other states.
The court dismissed the case on procedural grounds on December 11, prompting the president to tweet his intention to continue his efforts to contest the election results.

Deep Dive host and Epoch News contributor Tiffany Meier discussed the president’s options moving forward on December 14.
As Meier explained, several avenues remain open to the president and his legal team to challenge the presidential election results. Currently, lawyers working on the president’s behalf plan to file new lawsuits in key battleground states.
The president’s attorney, Rudy Giuliani, said the lawsuits would include Trump and state electors to establish standing with the courts. The Supreme Court denied standing when the State of Texas challenged actions by election officials in other states.
The results of those new cases remain uncertain, but Giuliani believes the president will get his day in court with the new roster of plaintiffs.
