(ConservativeHub.com) – Former President Donald Trump finished his speech after his arraignment on April 4 by a Manhattan court. Afterward, he went ahead and met with the people at his Mar-a-Lago club despite the Secret Service’s attempt to have him take a pre-cleared path, according to NBC News.

Trump then opted to walk to a private dinner, where he met up with Tiffany, his daughter, along with her husband and a conservative operative. Other friends and associates of Trump were also eating nearby.

NBC reported that during the dinner, Trump listened to a playlist made up of songs that he had selected, including “Justice for All,” sung by the “J6 choir” of people waiting for trial due to their involvement in the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol attack; a version of “It’s a Man’s World,” and a number of Sinead O’Connor and Phantom of the Opera songs.

It was a big day for Trump along with the rest of America, as it was the first time that a U.S. President, either former or current, had faced criminal charges. This is particularly important as Trump is not only the former President, but also, he is a major candidate for the 2024 presidential election. And so far, he hasn’t indicated that he has any intention of changing his plans.

Still, Mar-a-Lago proved to be a retreat for Trump who got to finish the day with his Spotify playlist and meal on the patio surrounded by his family and friends. Trump, who is known for his unpredictability, refused to answer questions while heading to the court on the morning of his arraignment. Many have pointed to his campaign team for this change in behavior as they are helping keep him calm and in control of the situation.
