Judge Calls For ACTION – Speaks Out After Terrifying Incident
(ConservativeHub.com) – On June 8, a man allegedly almost carried out his plan to attack and kill US Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh in his home. Luckily, the individual turned himself in before taking action on his plot. Judges at all levels of the justice system have faced similar threats. In July 2020, a crazed man murdered US District Judge Esther Salas’ son in the family home. She’s pushing for officials to consider the Daniel Anderl Judicial Security and Privacy Act.
Judge Salas appeared on America Reports on June 8 to speak about the bill that honors her late son. She said it would help increase the security available to federal judges while also adding protections to keep their personal information private. The bill has bipartisan sponsors in the Senate, including Majority Whip Dick Durbin (D-IL) and Senator Lindsay Graham (R-SC).

Salas noted the incident with Justice Kavanaugh only sheds more light on the dangerous situation judges are in when it comes to their personal safety. She also pointed to the murder of Judge John Roemer on June 4 in his home by a man who reportedly broke in. She said the matter is of the utmost priority and urged lawmakers to move more quickly on passing the act.
