(ConservativeHub.com) – A video taken on Tuesday, October 17, of former President Donald Trump inside a courtroom has gone viral, according to Newsweek. The former President attended the civil fraud trial for the lawsuit filed by New York Attorney General Letitia against him and the Trump Organization.
In September, Judge Arthur Engoron released a pretrial decision in which the top claim of the lawsuit was resolved as Trump had been found to have regularly inflated and deflated the value of his assets in order to defraud insurers and banks. The financial details provided by Trump allowed him to secure better loan terms and make better business deals.
The trial is still dealing with a number of the concerns in the $250 million trial, including those relating to falsifying business records, insurance fraud, and conspiracy. Trump, who is the frontrunner in the 2024 GOP primary race, has maintained that he has done nothing wrong and that the case against him was politically motivated.
While Trump is not expected to testify until later in the trial, last week he attended the first three days of the trial and on Tuesday he returned to the courtroom. In the clip of Trump outside the court that was posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, the former President appeared gloomy to be there. Fox News shared a different clip of Trump from the courtroom in which Trump has a gloomy expression. Aaron Rupar, a journalist, shared the clip on X.
