(ConservativeHub.com) – Democrats suffered massive losses in the House of Representatives in the 2020 general elections. However, another lesser-known story needs to be told — the tale of a new batch of GOP representatives sworn into office on Sunday, January 3. Known collectively as “The Freedom Force,” these four freshmen members of Congress are ready, willing, and eager to take on their leftist counterparts in “The Squad.”

They are uniquely positioned to push back against the socialist agenda promoted by The Squad for two reasons. First of all, like the notorious Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and other Squad members, they have an impressive number of followers on Twitter. Second, all four have experience with life in socialist or communist regimes, either first-hand or through their parents.
The four representatives of The Freedom Force are:
- Carlos Giménez (R-FL), a Cuban-born immigrant,
- Nicole Malliotakis (R-NY), the daughter of Cuban and Greek immigrants,
- Maria Elvira Salazar (R-FL), the daughter of Cuban exiles, and
- Victoria Spartz (R-IN), born in Ukraine while it was still a part of the USSR.
Elections do have consequences, and it appears that an already-weakened Speaker of the House, Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), may have met her match with these rising Republican stars.
