(ConservativeHub.com) – On Tuesday, June 25, Whoopi Goldberg the co-host of “The View,” used former President Donald Trump’s name after having previously refused to say it live on a show. After saying the name during the show, Goldberg proceeded to pretend to spit.
The panel was discussing the first presidential debate between Trump and Biden before it aired last week. At the time, the people in the panel said they felt Biden was ready to take on the event.
Goldberg also tried to defend Biden without making any direct references to the former President. However, during the discussion, she ended up referring to Biden’s debate opponent. In her argument, she said that Biden is “quite good at this” and that you can’t “refute anything” with Trump. She tried not to utter the former leader’s name, but proceeded to stumble on her words while talking about Biden’s opponent which resulted in co-host Joy Behar chiming in and stating that Trump “rambles.”
At the same time as Behar, Goldberg also said “Trump” which led to the live audience laughing. Goldberg then argued that Trump tends to “just –ugh” and proceeded to mimic spitting to the side.
The audience had ended up cheering at this display, which also resulted in co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin laughing. Sunny Hostin also seemed to appear gleeful while asking Goldberg whether she had just said Trump’s name.
In response, the host admittedly that she had and that it had been a “trick” and that “it made” her do it. Goldberg then went on to finish her point, saying Biden “knows what not to do,” and that you can’t “refute” Trump because he just “spins.”
