Most people arrive expecting to relax, unwind, and maybe even catch up on lost rest; finding themselves an unwilling participant in an all-night party is not in any way the goal. That might be why one woman from the United Kingdom who found herself in this very situation took matters into her own hands — with hilarious results.
It all started when 37-year-old Heather Minshull of Stockport, England, settled down for the night in her rental caravan at a Wales resort. She intended to sleep, but her partying neighbors kept her awake with their pounding music instead. She also said that they continued to make noise even after she asked them to quiet down.
Minshull decided to pay them back at around 7 a.m. Rather than the police, it was a flock of seagulls that helped her score the ultimate revenge.
Minshull scattered bread crumbs all over the roof of her then-sleeping neighbor’s caravan. And as anyone who knows anything about seagulls is already aware, the nearby flock of birds immediately sprung into excitable — and very noisy — action.
The result? Her noisy neighbors found themselves forced awake by the chaos. She felt that was a fitting punishment for people who clearly didn’t care about showing courtesy to others.
