(ConservativeHub.com) – A woman with the username @becca_b81 shared a video on TikTok of the reason why she built a metal wall to separate her home from her neighbors. Since its posting, the video has garnered over 5 million views.
The user explained in the post that she had to construct an 8-foot metal wall to separate the two homes, as her neighbor is what is often referred to as a “Karen.” While neighbor disputes are not uncommon, a big majority of all Americans, 86 percent, have stated that they like their neighbors, according to a report from Newsweek. The study by Xcelerant Omnibus further showed demographic changes did not alter that fact.
However, the TikTok user is allegedly not one of those people that has been blessed with a good neighbor. Many in the comments section praised the woman for making the decision to build the wall and the video has garnered over 124,000 likes.
One user, Coach Tinita stated in the comments that they would like to see the neighbor’s reaction to the wall, as they are sure it will be funny. A different user, Shakenotstirred also said that they loved the wall and that everyone had the right to keep themselves safe from Karen’s.
A different user, Debbie L Snyder-Gibs, also joined in to encourage the user to paint on her side of the wall.
Samantha Carpenter in her comment joked that a good neighbor is made through having a “good fence.”
Finally, other users like AnneyD wrote about their own stories of constructing a wall to keep their neighbors away from them.
