(ConservativeHub.com) – Maryland Gov. Wes Moore (D) has made his prediction that President Joe Biden will have the support of Black voters in a rematch against former President Donald Trump.

During an interview on MSNBC with Al Sharpton, Moore, who is part of the Biden-Harris 2024 National Advisory Board, argued that Black voters were going to support the President, as Biden has always supported them. This statement came after President Joe Biden announced during a campaign event in Atlanta, Ga., that he would be mobilizing voters of color through the AAP Victory Fund, the Latino Victory Fund, and The Collective PAC.

Moore expressed his belief that Biden had always made the interests of Black voters a priority. Currently, Moore is the only Black governor in the US.

Moore continued his statement by arguing that in his state, the effects of Biden’s leadership were clear as the state had very low unemployment rates and there were thousands of jobs that had been created under the Biden-Harris administration.

Moore added that he saw that the Black community would support Biden as he had supported them in the past. The PACs’ support for Biden is particularly important, as they have included campaign donations of around $30 million, according to The Hill.

In 2020, the minority voters contributed significantly to Biden’s success against Trump, and they are expected to be particularly important in November as the race is set to be a close one.

Moore claimed that voters are energized ahead of the presidential election because of the administration’s achievements.
