(ConservativeHub.com) – Former Houston Texans star J.J. Watt proverbially shrugged his shoulders and laughed after an uproar over former Pittsburgh Steelers running back Rashard Mendenhall who, in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, stated that he was tired of seeing “average white guys” making criticisms on football. He proceeded to argue that there should be a separation between the NFL’s Black and White stars.

In response, Watt reportedly joked that the White team would get “cooked at corner” and that there was no one who would actually guard Tyreek Hill.

His comments led to one person on X quickly accusing him of turning a blind eye to racism, which led to Watt stating that people should not be offended all the time by everything in the world. He added that Mendenhall stated that white people could not play football and that since “I’m a white guy” who is very good at the game, that statement was invalid. He added that rather than arguing, people needed to just have a little bit of fun.

Mendenhall in his original post said that he was tired of seeing “average white guys” making any comments about football and argued that the majority of people making the comments were not even good at the game. He then called for the Pro Bowl with two bowls one that would be All-Black and another that would be all-White. He added that this would mean that these “cats” would no longer be trying to teach him who was good at the game. He proceeded to claim that he was better than the other side “GOAT.”

After the original Tweet, Mendenhall added that he was “tired of being berated” by individuals who don’t understand the game. He said he was great at football and slammed people for being so “upset over a single tweet.”
