(ConservativeHub.com) – On Tuesday, February 13, Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley appeared for an interview on Fox News where she was asked to respond to the criticisms of “The View” co-host Sunny Hostin who had argued that Haley was not going to be the party’s nominee. Hostin had continued by arguing that Haley would need to “take several seats.” Co-host Ana Navarro also joined in the criticism, arguing that in South Carolina, which is Haley’s home state, she would be “beaten like a bongo drum.”

However, Haley seemed to focus her response more towards co-host Whoopi Goldberg, who asked on Monday’s episode of “The View” what Haley had done that she could point to. In response, Haley argued that there was a lot she had done as the governor and as the U.N. ambassador and that it was, in fact, much more than what Whoopi Goldberg had managed to do. She continued by arguing that she did not care to impress the panel on “The View.”

In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Haley continued by saying that she did not concern herself with the media and political class, including Whoopi Goldberg.

Haley is trying to win support in South Carolina, her home state where The Hill/ Decision Desk HQ’s polling average showed that she was behind Trump by close to 33 percentage points. While Haley lost the early primary and caucus states, she has stated that she will continue to be in the Republican race until next month’s Super Tuesday when 15 states vote in their primary races.
