(ConservativeHub.com) – In a radio interview on The John Fredericks Show on Friday, July 28, former President Donald Trump spoke about his wife, Melania Trump.

During the interview, he said it is “unpleasant” to have to tell your wife that you are going to be indicted the next day. He said the former First Lady asked what he was indicted for, to which he replied he had “no idea.”

In the last year, Trump has been indicted multiple times. His first indictment came from a Manhattan grand jury who has alleged that he had falsified business records connected to a hush money payment that was made on his behalf to adult film star Stormy Daniels. His second was a federal indictment related to his alleged mishandling of classified documents. In that case, he is facing 40 criminal charges, out of which 31 are connected to the Espionage Act. Trump has pleaded not guilty to all counts in both cases.

Trump was indicted yet again this past week, this time due to his role in the events of Jan. 6, 2021. The indictment includes four separate charges involving fraud, rights violation conspiracy, and vote certification interference. He pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Since leaving the White House, Melania Trump has rarely been seen accompanying her husband during his campaigning and has not made many public appearances. Still, in May during an interview with Fox News, she noted that she was supportive of Donald Trump’s decision to run for the White House again.

In a CNN interview, former spokesperson Stephanie Grisham addressed Melania Trump’s silence on the most recent indictment. Grisham suggested she wasn’t surprised by it, saying, “That is Melania Trump.” The former spokesperson added that she believes Melania Trump is leaving the issue up to her husband to deal with and will stand by him when she’s ready.
