(ConservativeHub.com) – Kara McGee, who was one of the jurors dismissed in the New York hush money trial, described the experience of seeing former President Donald Trump as “jarring.”

In her comments to MSNBC on Tuesday, April 16, McGee spoke about her time before being dismissed from jury selection due to her job. She said she was seated near Trump, only around 20 to 30 feet away from him. She further stated it was odd as she had never before seen Trump in person. She noted that it was “jarring” to see someone in real life after seeing them on the media for such a long time.

She continued by pointing out the realization that he was “just another guy.” In addition, she described it as strange that he could witness her talking about him. She further said that she had told the courtroom that she would not have any problem with being impartial and fair to the former President if she remained in the court.

According to her, she made made eye contact with Trump twice while in court, and it made her nervous.

She also told MSNBC that the situation started to feel more real and she recognized being on a jury meant being partly responsible for a person’s future. She added that this would have been true regardless of whether the defendant was Trump or any other person.

Following Monday’s court sessions, there were no jurors chosen. The prospective jurors were asked to go back to the courtroom on Tuesday. Jury selection was finally finished on Friday.
