(ConservativeHub.com) – Former President Trump took to his social media platform Truth Social on Sunday, June 23, to slam his current legal troubles. According to The Hill, he pushed the idea that the Department of Justice has been politicized and that’s why prosecutors have been going after him.

Last week, special counsel Jack Smith of the Justice Department sent Trump a letter informing him that he was a target in the investigation relating to his role in the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol incident.

Trump and his allies have heavily criticized Smith and the Justice Department for what they refer to as a politically motivated investigation, which is also the point that Trump attempted to make clear on Sunday. Trump was quick to argue this point on his social media platform.

He urged his followers on Sunday to remember that every time there is information about him being in court or facing legal issues, they needed to remember that this was all part of a “coordinated HOAX.”

In his next post, he claimed that President Biden was the most corrupt president in U.S. history and that he was also incompetent.

Trump has already been indicted in two separate cases. The first is a criminal case in New York ,where he is facing charges for falsifying business records relating to a hush money payment made to adult film star Stormy Daniels, while the second one is a federal indictment relating to his alleged mishandling of presidential documents after leaving the White House.

News outlets report that Trump is also expected to be indicted in connection to Jan. 6. According to him, DOJ officials met with his lawyers on July 27 to discuss the situation. He called the meeting “productive” on Truth Social. However, on the same day, another indictment was revealed accusing him of trying to get rid of surveillance footage at Mar-a-Lago amid the classified documents case.
