(ConservativeHub.com) – On Monday, January 22, Vice President Kamala Harris slammed the GOP over their abortion views and verbally attacked former President Donald Trump for bringing about the overturning of Roe v. Wade.
Harris started the “Fight for Reproductive Freedoms” tour, which is also used to mark the 51st anniversary of Roe v. Wade. During her remarks in Wisconsin, Harris blasted the GOP who have been pushing for abortion access to be restricted and blamed Trump for the overturning of Roe v. Wade, which enshrined abortion rights in the Constitution until it was shot down by the Supreme Court in 2022.
Harris pointed out that Trump, during his Fox News town hall earlier this month, had bragged about being responsible for the ending of Roe v. Wade. She said he had picked three of the Supreme Court justices who went on to rule for the overturning of Roe v. Wade. She further attacked the GOP for their push to restrict abortion access and blamed Trump for the abortion rights being overturned.
Harris continued by saying that Trump had repeatedly expressed pride over being the one to restrict abortion access and proceeded to question whether he was proud of causing more women in the state to suffer. She further questioned whether Trump was proud that he had taken away the “fundamental freedom” of women or that there were doctors who could be imprisoned for providing care to their patients. She said that currently, women had fewer rights than their mothers and grandmothers had, and demanded, “How dare he?”
Harris had traveled to Wisconsin to energize the voter base in what is considered to be an important battleground state.
