(ConservativeHub.com) – Former Representative Cheney (R-Wyo.) in a recent interview on ABC News’s “This Week,” argued that Americans should not dismiss the remarks of former President Donald Trump. She added that it was necessary for the statements he was making to be considered “seriously.”
Cheney said during the interview that people should “take everything” that Trump said completely “literally and seriously.” She added that they had seen the extent that Trump was willing to go after the past election and before the Capitol attack on Jan. 6, 2021. She continued by saying that it was important for people to remember that on the morning of Jan. 6, Trump had believed that he would still be able to remain in the White House.
Cheney claimed that they had previously seen exactly how far Trump was willing to go in order to seize power despite his loss in the presidential election.
Earlier this week, there was a lot of criticism of the former President after he refused to state during a town hall with Fox News’s Sean Hannity that he would not act as a dictator if he wins a second term in the White House. Instead, during that time, he argued that on day one, he would be acting as a dictator just to get the situation at the border under control. He added that this was the only day that he would be acting that way.
