(ConservativeHub.com) – Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, alleges that he obtained information from the FBI showing that since Joe Biden’s time serving as the Vice President, the FBI has maintained over 40 confidential human sources who provided information on various criminal issues concerning the Biden family. The confidential human sources allegedly provided information relating to several members of the Biden family including President Biden, his son Hunter Biden, and brother James Biden. According to a recent report from Fox News, Grassley is currently asking the Attorney General and FBI Director to provide answers.
Grassley allegedly also found out that within the Washington Field Office, there was one task force that tried to shut down reports and information for these sources by falsely discrediting them. The efforts also led to some probes and activities being ceased. Grassley said that despite these attempts, there was one case in which a source had repeatedly been vetted by U.S. attorneys’ offices but that had not been found connected to “Russian disinformation.”
Grassley wrote a letter to Merrick Garland, the Attorney General, and Christopher Wray, the FBI director, in which he laid out the allegations and asked them to “clear the air.” As he wrote in the letter, his office acquired information about many credible whistleblowers that had been shut down by the FBI and Department of Justice in an attempt to block any investigative activity connected to the Biden family. He asserted that these actions showed political bias had played a role in the decisions that were made by FBI agents, prosecutors, and the FBI Director and Attorney General. He wanted to know whether the FBI actually investigated the information or dismissed it.
