(ConservativeHub.com) – In a recent interview, TV personality Dr. Phil McGraw suggested that President Joe Biden should take a cognitive exam. During his remarks on Friday, March 1, he pointed out that those who did not have anything to hide would not attempt to hide anything.
During the “Overtime” part of the “Real Time” show, host Bill Maher asked Dr. Phil whether he believed that Biden should take a cognitive exam. This prompted Phil question, “Why not?” He suggested Biden should take the test if he did not have anything to hide.
On Friday, Maher closed his show by pushing for Biden to lean into his age rather than attempting to deny it. He argued that rather than attempting to refute all the concerns about him being “too old” to serve in the White House, Biden should instead embrace them and admit that yes, he might be old, but he was still someone who really believed in democracy.
The HBO host added that the Democratic candidates were becoming too “defensive” and that they instead needed to embrace who they were. He then suggested that Biden should “take a page” out of the playbook of the late John McCain who had fully embraced his age in his 2008 presidential run.
Previously, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said that the President’s doctors had found that a cognitive test was not needed during the president’s physical exam.
Back in January, Trump bragged that he took a cognitive test and passed with flying colors.
