(ConservativeHub.com) – A news report on CNN has alleged that around the time former President Donald Trump first left the White House in 2021, a binder that contained classified information related to the 2016 Russia election meddling story disappeared. According to the report, the binder contained “raw intelligence” from the U.S. and NATO on Russia and Russian agents.

The last time that the binder was seen in the White House was when former President Donald Trump was still in office. Since then, the binder has allegedly gone missing.

The New York Times reported that the “Crossfire Hurricane” binder has led to a lot of concerns over the potential spread of sensitive information. The name of the binder is a reflection of the FBI probe into allegations of a link between Russia and the Trump campaign in 2016.

The binder is described as having been around 10 inches thick, and the reports note that it contained material so sensitive that even congressional aides and lawmakers that had top secret security clearance were only allowed to look through the binder and its contents in the McLean, Va., CIA headquarters.

However, the New York Times in their report said that according to one source, the substance of the material in the binder was not that sensitive. They further stated that it contained details of intelligence agencies which they thought could reveal sources and methods that were secret. The FBI on their website had uploaded a redacted version of the binder.

Trump also reportedly planned to declassify redacted versions of the binder while he was still in office, but the Justice Department was worried about letting this content be distributed. Trump claimed former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows still had material from the binder, but Meadows has denied this.
